ok so here is the deal.
i'm currently working on four lotr's costumes

the last one is to be revealed at it's own time :-)
first of all Merry is VERY simple. I know a few of you die-hard merry costumers would feel like murdering me right now ;-) . It all started at the fabric store after my friend Alicia told me she wanted to be pippin for the 2003 lotr's ttt's party. I told her nah be merry..she is a blonde..and i don't wanna buy a curly blonde wig that will end up on ebay in the end.. anyways so cloe and i went to the fabric store and found nice yellow fabric for the vest. Thank Goodness i didn't buy thread..because about three days later cloe and i went to a consinment shop (i know it's spelled wrong) and found a perfect merry vest...well as perfect as finding one in a store like this.It even has almost matching embroidery..well kinda.. anyways it wasn;t fan made because it's from a designer company not that merry's vest isn't designer..anyways..so that is the deal with merry and that vest cost $3.50
fabric $3.00 ................arg.....
now for the helm's deep elf...i'm going to use Haldir for short..lol

ahem...i am not making this for myself although i may model it a few times!!!!

i made it too big.....i alreayd told you all about it.....ack..
i'm working on the belt and will make a cloak like in the rotk...it won't look like the movie;s version!!! my own idea
